We had a fantastic experience with our private tour guide Niko. From the start, she was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The tour felt fully personalized and never rushed. Our guide tailored the day to our family’s interests and shared great insights into the history, culture, and local areas, making everything more engaging. She punctual, easy to communicate with, and made getting around the city effortless. We also appreciated his restaurant and local recommendations that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Most importantly, we really enjoyed spending the day with her. And she made us feel comfortable and welcome, and it felt like exploring the city with a knowledgeable local friend rather than a formal tour. “The absolute best guide - Niko is amazing! ”

My daughter and I had the most wonderful day in Kyoto with Niko. She was knowledgeable, responsible, caring and so much fun. She made our first day in Kyoto perfect. It was a super hot day and having a guide who was able to navigate for us and show us all the interesting sights was perfect. We went to a really fun place for lunch that we loved. In addition to being very knowledgeable about Kyoto history, temples, shrines ans neighborhoods, Niko was personable and it was nice to meet a new person. Niko is so friendly and we are so happy we spent the day with her. She also gave us great suggestions for the rest of our week which was very helpful!

“Food tour ”

Had an enjoyable tour with Niko. She was very accommodating to my request to focus on trying local food rather than sightseeing. She took care of everything, so I didn’t have to worry about routes or planning the itinerary. Niko has lots of energy and is great at asking questions and keeping the conversation flowing. On top of that, her English is excellent, which made communication effortless. Spending the day with her felt more like hanging out with a friend than being on a guided tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If it’s your first time visiting, I would definitely recommend Niko to help you get to know the city.
